| Unfortunately there is not a whole lot you can do about stinky shoes. Face it, your feet sweat and your shoes absorb the moisture. This moisture is probably not very sweet smelling, unless you are lucky enough to sweat the leatest Calvin Klein cologne. Odd are, you are a regular human and have unpleasant smelling sweat. There are a few thing you can do.
1. Make sure you buy a good quality shoe. Look for a genuine leather shoe. Imitation leather shoes are not a very good breathable material. Review this site, it has a large variety of high quality shoes. It also shows the rating of other users.
2. Get two pairs of shoes and wear each pair every other day. This gives each pair time to dry out.
3. Wear a pair of good cotton socks. Cotton allows your feet to breath, allowing your feet to stay dryer.
4. Replace your shoes often. The longer you wear them the more time thay have to absorb your unpleasant feet odor. Here is a picture of shoes that are old and stink due to a large amount of use. If your shoes look like this, you are a prime canidate for a smelly shoe. Notice the condition of these shoes are still pretty good. They don't have holes in them, but because of the amount I have worked in them they are saturated with grease, oil, and you guessed it, sweat. Although, these shoes are great for working in when there are no lady friends around.
By the way, the above shoes are Skechers shoes. Skechers make good shoes and they seem to last a long time too. The only drawback I have seen with them is that the soul seems to break down quick. Good Luck! |
